About Eric Weissman
Eric Weissman began his Internet business career in 1995 when he launched his first Web based company Market 2000 Corp (M2C), a business that specialized in developing state-of-the-art Internet automation and robotics technology, and pioneered the use of this technology for marketing, business development, recruiting, research, and more.
Funded with $25,000 borrowed from credit cards, Eric Weissman started M2C from his Bedroom and within 3 years grew it to be a dominant force in the online world. With the help of long time friend and award winning developer Richard Horwitz, M2C created an impressive portfolio of automation products and Websites, and developed client relationships with companies like Lucent, Oracle, Compaq, HP and a host of many small to medium-sized companies across the country.
M2C Robots found the most lucrative home in the Electronic and Internet Recruiting space which was an industry just emerging at the time. M2C Robots automated many of the daunting tasks that recruiters and human resource professionals faced with trying to launch and manage their Internet based recruiting efforts.
The leading M2C product was the Resume Robot, a system that allowed a Recruiter to enter a job description, some keywords and a geographic focus, and the Robot would automatically search the Internet, find, scan and parse resumes, generate an email message to qualified candidates, populate a back-end database with all resumes found, and generate inbound responses from available candidates. Although commonplace in the 2000's, in the 1990's this technology and process was revolutionary!
In 1998, Eric sold M2C to Personic Software under a multi-million dollar deal. Then, after a two-year post sale consulting contract with Personic Software, Eric Weissman on his own behalf and on the behalf of clients as a consultant went on to development new ways of automating Business on the Internet, and created a portfolio of leading edge Internet based technologies, products, services, businesses, methodologies, content, domains and Websites.
Today, Eric Weissman is President of On Web Marketing Inc. (OWM), a company he founded that specializes in leveraging Internet robotics and automation technology to monetize Websites and domains, market products and services, buy and sell Web assets, prospect for business connections and leads, and build/promote content rich niche market Websites. OWM also designes and developes Web based marekting systems for clients, built on it's proprietary automation technology platform.
